Explain Clan Points system
I have searched the threads and search feature but cannot find a sticky or anything with the particulars..
And I know Ive seen it before..
Can anybody link to the info or answer these:
How much exp to get to 10 clan points ( 10 being the max per day you can get credited for )
What is the start and end of the clan point day?
If you play enough on Wednesday to get 10 clan points, when does the clan page get updated with those points?

17. How are clans ranked?
• Clans are ranked by clan points, which are received by clan members who are playing online. For every 500 EXP earned by a clan member one (1) clan point is awarded to that player’s clan. Clan points can also be earned by playing and winning clan matches and through special events and promotions to be announced. At the end of each week, 5% of all clan points will be taken/removed. Clans will then be ranked according their number of remaining clan points.
Unfortunately the only thing thats it is your short answer lol...
Still need to find out the start and end of the data collection cycle as well as when the days points gets updated to clan page !

I think the clan ranks are updated around 1-5am EST every day.
Not sure about the time since my timezone is different.
And about the data collection. I'd say it stop at midnight. Would make sense.
Definitley would make sense that way.
But still unclear whether the process is a one time shot all across the board making start of day and/or update process at different times for different time zones - or -
could be broken up into each timezone individually.. so far we really not sure...

I'm quite sure it's all done at the same time. Otherwise there should be tons of people working just on updating the points. That does not sound very effective.
Ya agreed although the points update should be done automaticly not by individuals, it should be a daily feature of one of the programs behind the scenes

So have all the exp you need by 11:00 PM

I jumped in for 2 rounds last night and thought I made 10 clan points for 500 experience. Bah only one point. -
Well I have a question too... I understood that for 500 exp you get 1 clan point. But how many clan points increase the clan rank with 1 point??How many clan points do I need, to rank up my clan from 608 to 607?....This is what I don't understand...:D

Check the clans ahead of yours. Compare the points. -
Check the clan list. Find your clan in it by the rank you are in.

You would need to combine all of your clan points of all of your players for the day.
If you have 10 players who played for a long time and got 10 clan point each, you would have increased your clan points by 100 ( 10 players x 10 points each ).
If you where only behind the next clan by 50 points and the other clan didnt play that day you would pass them by 50 points and be clan 607.
Going up is very hard. If you search the forums for "farming" and "farmers" you will find how some of the top clans got there. PS: its not by playing public matches only -

I can only see the clans that are in top 100. So from 100 to 608 is a looong way...
So your answer is for the ones that are in top 100. But for the others??
And btw, why don't the GM's or MOD's explain clearly how this ranking thing works? I think that we desirve to know...
Sometimes many members of my clan play all day long and we get only one rank point...So we all should know how it works.. -

You get straight to your clan by clicking "My Clan" on the left side, or you can search by name (clan.z8games.com).

Lol man, the MOD said to compare clan points to see how they are ranked . And I asked there how many clan points I need to rank up my clan with 1 rank point. My clan rank is 608. How can I see who's rank is 607?? In the clan list u find only the first 100 clans. We know that for 1 clan point we need 500 exp. But for 1 rank point how many clan points do we need? Is a simple question and I just wanted a straight answer.
Where is the answer to this question in his post?
Why don't they explain clearly how the ranking sistem work?
And btw, I am not so stupid as u think I am! I know how I can see my clan, and many things!! I am not an 13 year old kid! U should try first to understand what was my question about! And if u did, and u have an answer, post it. -

The clan are ranked based on activity.
Every player in a clan can earn 10 points max for the clan per day.
All the point the clan makes per day are added together.
Based on the points the clan are ranked.
Every week all the clans lose 5% of their points. That's so the inactive clans won'y stay in the top 100 for long.

Depends on how many clan points the other clans have.
Let's say you have 1000.
The one that is ranked above you has 1050.
You will need 50 or more. But they will get points too.
So the next day they might have 1100. So even if you'd get 50-90 you'd still remain ranked lower than they do. -

Yea I was gonna suggest the Clan FAQ by clicking it on the left hand side column on the clan page... but looks like you found it.
Edit: Scar_Gallery, do you know if its possible to go past the top 100-250 clans in the clan list? I remember that it used to be there... but not anymore... or something. Meh I'm tired, gnight
