How can i save my pictures so i can use them as an avatar on Forum and the resolution is not too bad?

for crossfire ctrl+prtsc but u have to resize them cuz the forum only allows 100x100

I was thinking about a way to save them, like : .JPEG or .GIF etc.

Which one keeps the picture with a nice resolution and is allowed on Forum?

and I know i have to resize my pics... (100x100 max)

.BMP keeps 'em good

Any format, doesnt matter you have to resize it to 100x100 so it will be alwasy stay with good quality
