  • Just to clear a couple of conceptions up while were on the subject.

Farming happens in ALL games with rewards. It's a fact and in extreme cases (ie having 2 computers) is almost impossible to actually stop fully.

There are measures that games can take against farmers. Some of them are subjective and some things can be built in to the game code to reduce or eliminate farming.

In our game we don't have the ability to fully police the farming of experience. We've made some small changes over time but it has not significantly reduced the farming.

As such we can't implement a full policy that bans users or takes negative action against them for those things.

But there are 2 resolutions to this that can help ease your mind. The first being, the only thing you can really farm in crossfire is your rank. (and clan points to a degree) If you don't let another players rank bother you much then it doesn't matter if some player is 15 levels above you. Does it give any indication of skill? No. Experience is a direct relation to the amount of time you play the game.

We all want higher ranks, but use ranks as a way to judge between friends, or clan mates and deal with yourself instead of worrying about random strangers you never see in game! :)

The second is that we are still working on the anti-farming front. We've already taken the preliminary steps to cap experience gains and work towards a game where farming doesn't matter as much. Hopefully with future clan developments we can work with a ranking system that shows skill as well as experience and clan points.

So hopefully that gives a bit of insight on the why's and hows and whats of farming.
  • Yeah, rank doesnt counts too much, the experience is how much you've played theg ame,i'm in since almost 1 year and im sfc lvl 4 XD,but the only thing that matters for yourself is the k/d ratio, which if you didn't farmed, that's your real skill(a part from it,because you can be skilled alot, but it matters the other players which you are playing with too)
  • Farming is to farm on a barn far far away.
  • well explained Saidin :D
just to clear things i thought the word farm was something like hack or something like that
    thats why i asked:)
  • you take your shovels and hoes and go out into the field and harvest your crops. farm.

Farming has made a complete joke of your ranking system. Well not your ranking system, but whoever developed it. Just get rid of it there's no point in having it really >.>
  • The K/D shows your ratio, but not totally... In fact, if you play only TDs, it's obvious that your ratio will be good (if you can play just a bit well) because your enemies are n00bs... in fact, i have 2.4 K/D in TDs but only 1.7 in S&D ^^

Nice speech, but me and my clan friends decided to see the maximum EXP you can get from TDMs and we found that the max is now 1.1k Is that true?
