Ak-47 question

In some aspects Ak47 actually beats M4 and Skill lite. Over the course of the last 9 months, apart from the spray pattern there are a couple of tricks and secrets that I've learned of this gun. For example if you step to the side, wait half a second while aiming at your target and then start tapping, your first 8+ bullets will go exactly where you aim.

Even though you should never be crouched midair spraying in a real competative game, when I am crouched midair, I noticed the first bullet goes slightly above your crosshair and the 2nd goes a centimeter higher. So yeah there are games where I go crazy with midair hs taps xD

3 bullets to the stomach is a kill, 4 bullets to the chest, 1shot-hs. 2 hs through a box to kill. Spray pattern is like nothing of any gun in this game, by far the most accurate and reliable spray pattern in the game. And well, overall once you can control every bullet, you have the strongest bullets in the game so you become pretty unstoppable.

it is already a 2-3 shot kill...and have you ever seen a real pro? They can pwn anyone.

Stop talking about IRL, this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6BpI3xD6h0 - is an example of how inaccurate the weapon depiction in Crossfire is. Tell me that the CF's M16 is somewhere near high precision... No matter how good or bad a weapon is IRL, CF is a game and not a realistic one so don't make comparisons.

Now on to the topic : the AK47 is one of the more balanced weapon of CF. Compare it to Über Scar Light for example. AK has power (and a lot) but also has recoil. Hard to use but in good hands, killer weapon. While Scar L has very little recoil (even when running, jumping, strafing or the three at the same time) and good power.

I have the AK47, and even though I still have problem mastering it (I'm surprisingly good at long range while below average at mid range, go figure...) I usually do very good with it.

More than 4 people using AK at the same time and my ears start bleeding. Seriously, the number of AK users is fine. It's the number of Scar L users that should be reduced (and we need more people with Galil or Uzi... :rolleyes: )

OK, first of all the AK in my opinion is the greatest gun in this game then the M$ comes.

People can't use the AK-47 because they are so used to using the scar light which all you have to do is shoot and without tapping and anything.

The AK is different because you need to make sure you aren't moving to much when you are shooting and if you are make sure to tap the shift every once in a while.

Another thing to do would be to double tap this is great for consistency. If you don't want the head-shot and just want the kill all you have to do is hold down the mouse for 2-3 seconds while aiming at the lower buddy (bawlz).

This will then let your bullets hit the body in a consistent pattern. However if you keep holding the button down you will start to lose control.

Also very important about the AK don't try to spray. The gun will not do you any good if you spray and pray...
