Good Idea I think. It would definitely help keep the real hackers in check better I think. But I dont think z8 has the resources & manpower nor the desire to implement the necessary steps. Seems like this would be too big of an undertaking for them. I could be wrong though.
I really like this idea lol. I think thats a great idea in fact & it would definitely make the majority of vote-kick trigger happy players think twice about unjustly vote kicking someone for a bogus reason when they have an actual consequence to face for falsely accusing. And yeah, you get a player who has a nasty habit of falsely reporting then I say to hell with em and yeah have their accounts banned or at least, to be fair, as a 1st time warning, a suspension. Seriously thats one of the better ideas Ive come across that seems very ideal...but again I wonder if Z8 would be willing and able to allocate the necessary man power & resources for this.
NOW IF ONLY A Z8 REP WOULD BOTHER TO TAKE THE TIME TO ACKNOWLEGE THIS IDEA & MINE & TELL US WHY IT WOULD OR WOULD NOT BE WORTH THEIR TIME TO CONSIDER THESE SUGGESTIONS.

There are enough decent, honest and legit players that create their own rooms that this wouldnt present a problem I believe. I dont think there would be an unreasonably large amount of rooms hosted by hackers.

Heres an idea!
Everytime you get reported or booted you get points. and the more points you get to more untrustworthy you are as a player. and if you get so many points you cant join servers.
also the servers could have a 1 to 10 point minimum join. or 5 - 10 point join. you can only join certain servers if you have low points.
this would seperate the hackers from the legit players.
so the legit players would be happy and hackers would be annoyed! its a win win! -
errrmmm... no gregory... several legit players that are immensely good, pretty much get reported at least once a day, they would earn massive amounts of your "penalty" points. What you basically are saying is that anyone with a (non-farmed) KDR of 1.5+ shouldn't play this game -.-. So yeah... dissolve all the good clans, coz we all "hack" lols...
No that definitely doesn't work. The funniest thing is... most of the hackusators never actually met a real hacker. I, for my part, am rather suprised of the low amounts of hackers in CF. I've played FPS games for over 6 years, and now i'm quite good at spotting someone who hacks. And to be fair... I, at the very max, see 2 hackers a week, (me playing 14-16 hours a week on average). Back then in CS, you would at least see 10+ hackers a week. I think what really needs to be done is: educate people.
For instance. If you die 3-4 steps behind a wall. Its not wallhack, its called LAG (something caused by high ping). when someone prefires, 95% of the time its someone who heard you, because you run around like an elephant. 4 HS in a row, is called skill, one good thing to look at youtube and look for CFMod BlindRob's videos, he managed to do a 6x HS kill with m60 lols... and hell, he's just one pro (expecting nothing less from a former lifeline player XD). long range hs? its something known as luck and a portion of skill. Aimboters on the other hand often "twitch" before they shoot, some of them spinning in a 360° circle and then 1 shot hs you. Actual wallhackers can see through walls, when you watch the replay you see those guys, looking at walls in the direction of where the enemies are.
So yeah... i think this all should be added to the tutorial. And make those QQing Hackusating people know what an actual hacker is. Anything else, i doubt it will work. As for the kicking... get used to it... i get kicked 33% of the games i enter ^^... The games I get kicked are usually too boring anyway. -

I played this game around a year ago and their was tons of hackers i drove me nuts, ghost who had guns ghost who ran fast as hell speed hack and so much more.
Well i got tired of it and quit. So i came back to this game,a week or so ago and was surprise their was not a single player i can say is a hacker that i meet so far.
Know the problem is okay i played 18 games yesterday kick from 11 and 6 of them was games i made my self. i have a giant crowed who if they see me will right away start yelling saying i am a hacker.
Because first before i even enter a room from hearing i know where you or if you a ghost my hearing si good enough i know where you or if you switch from weapons meaning switch from knife to bomb or bomb to knife and this is with out head phones.
Second when you plant the bomb i can almost always know where you hide.
Third when walking around i shot at random place which or commonly places where ghost will hide and wait for you.
Fourth I get the tanker they say since they think they hit me but i am good at dodge,
say like i hit you 8 times when they miss all 8.
i would even like something beside name that say not hacker that would help some of course got to earn it but i would not mind.
are like make it where you can't be kick of course for this as well you got to prove first to gm that you do not hack.

Good point. Yeah Id say on average, on my good days, I can only play & complete about 30% of my games as well. Give or take a nice round 10% just to be more precise. I would think that this is prolly the average for a great many number of good players that get kicked unfairly. And seriously guys think about that. When you invest so much of your time on a day by day or week by week basis & all that time youre spending, youre only getting to completely play through every 2-4 out of 10 games...thats ridiculous & just goes to show how flawed the kick system is.
Again im all for the kick system, but it seriously needs revamped & revised so as not to unjustly discriminate against the well skilled & legit players who actually dont cheat. At least a couple of the ideas offered here are very good & plausible ones I think. And again, I wonder how many people actually stop to realize how thats in itself cheats the unfairly kicked players out of GP & ranking up & adding to their stats. Ive not bothered to do the math but just off the top of my head I realize its a very large number.
Id be very appreciate, as im sure many others would as well if anyone reading this whos knowledgeable enough on this would care to take the time to calculate this & use as a starting variable, lets say someone who only gets to play & complete 5 out of every 10 games due to being kicked. And determine the actual losses incurred regarding GP, EXP points & any other factors I may be forgetting. Id really like to see those numbers in writing mathematically & factually mapped out myself.Ghost mode is just insane how often I get kicked because I have my headset on ear bleed so I hear everything (unless noobs are sparying too much but that's expected). I also posted about this but good luck trying to get them to do something about it.
Yeah ghost mode def is the worst when it comes to hackusations simply due to the nature of the game mode. BL is invisible when not moving so too many newbs think this makes them nearly invincible. And they dont take into consideration so many other factors that a seasoned player of this mode would. Some just plainly obvious & some more subtle things learned only usually through personal experience & trial & error & so forth.
That in itself is human nature. To fear & be skeptical of the unknown. Too many people dont know too many different concepts when it comes to this game & in turn due to their ignorance wrongfully blame the opposing player of cheating when in fact they are not. And yeah that is human nature but when youre dealing with someone that chooses not to expand their horizons & open their mind, then you have two options: Either try to take the time to educate them which that would be a daunting task considering the number of uninformed players (youd never get to actually focus on playing the game) or rely on something or someone else to intercede. Thats where the need for having the ability to be unkickable at least in some format for the skilled & legit players needs to be introduced. Again at least a couple very good ideas offered in this thread so far.

Yeah I inevitably end up doing that quite frequently, to try to reason with the masses in the hopes that the majority wont just ignorantly & blindly press f11 on me. And yep lol I end up getting ganked for doing that most times. Im sure thats actually a tactic some BL players use on purpose. Very succinctly stated Auugh. Those are just some of the in depth things to consider when playing CF that most people just dont understand or bother to think about. And as far as educating people. Well you know the saying - you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink. Yeah I remember when I first started playing CF it was nuts how much speed & gun hacks there were. It would be in almost every single game Id play. Theyd come out with a new patch & for only 2-3 days things would be pretty normal & then tons of hacking again. Recently before I quit for a while (3 months ago) there wasnt very much actual hacking going on & since Ive been back about a week ago now I havent noticed anything that was an obvious hack. Yeah there are several obvious BL hiding spots to the trained GR player & couple that with the ability to hear breathing & other BL noises & using simple intuition & ones own common sense & having a lot of experience with the layout of that particular map, its very easy to very often accurately pinpoint where a bl is hiding. And ohh God forbid you took an educated shot & killed them cuz then that must mean you cheated right? Pft.
And as I mentioned I tried using headphones the other day for the 1st time & I personally found it was no where near as good as just having my actual speaker system cranked way up. Maybe its just my headphones arent the best. But I can do so much better with my speakers. Much easier to pinpoint where the noises are coming from.Guys .. just write a book about it.

I've tried explaining it to people how i killed them and some times in very good detail and i still get kick for hack.
on lost relic at a site they drop the bomb off the side of a into the water i came into the room saw the bomb went up first shoot on teh ledge up higher above the bomb and killed the ghost. then i was kick after one other time that was close to this that happen in that game.
The most annoying time that i was every kick was when i had 41 kills and 2 deaths.
Best i ever did, then through i was kick out off the room.
it was also on round 11 when i was kick.
Uh i don't put my speakers up high just leave them on normal.
Plus the type of head phone people would use for this game or those that keep all sound out so you can only hear what happening in game and not around you.
For the comments i seen on here which says just play with you clan or just play with you friend i have no friend and when every i do add some one to friend list they usualy never talk again. Then my clan it takes a hr just to get one game started so can't do only that.
In the end i am on the verge of quiting because this si getting to annoying. -

-Your partner its clan mate of the guy that want to kick you (sometimes u can see rooms full of clan members and little OTHER CLANS members example a room full of clan : 222 6 of them at each side and 4 of clan : lol 2 each side so if they say u hack both sides will fight to kick u pressing f11 so u ARE KICKED

Yeah, thats almost always pointless, trust me. Too many immature, impatient & uncaring individuals that play this game which in itself is basically why we need to revise the kicking system so the rest of us that know what the hell were doing & use the kick system honestly & responsibly dont have to contend with such stupidity & aggravation.
But to finish is response to your statement, again too many players just wont pay head to your pleas or explanations, no matter how truthful, thorough or sincere you are. You know the saying "dont cast your pearls before swine"? Meaning dont waste your time trying to impart words of wisdom on the dullards & those incapable or unwilling to hear the truth.
Once in a while you may get someone to listen & consider what you say but it happens very very rarely & even then it usually doesnt take long for some other moron to jump on the band wagon & accuse you as well. Having established & *reliable* & *mature* friends to play your games with definitely helps the issue. Its more or less akin to using a band-aid on a cut that needs stitches, referring to the messed up hacking system, but it really does help & Ive asterisked* reliable & mature cuz those qualities in a friend in this game are most important. Ive got a huge friends list & I wont just add anybody.
My very 1st & most important criteria is to find someone who Ive ended up playing enough rounds with that seems cool. In this context meaning someone who seems to have the same understanding I do about this game & that just cuz your good doesnt make you a hacker. Someone thats mature. Usually this means theyre an older player, not a child. Thats not always the case though. Ive known some 10 year olds that are more mature & have more common sense than some 20 year olds lol.
And usually its someone with these qualities that Ive played enough rounds with that realizes Im just good & dont hack & when a vote kick comes up theyll stick up for me & say "no he dont hack f12 people" or something to that effect. Thats when I take notice of that person. Ill type them a private message saying something like "thanks man" or "that was cool of you ty for getting my back". You then start to build up a rapport with them.
Ill Watch them more closely, try to play some more rounds with them & make sure theyre the real deal & that they themselves have some honor & integrity as far as not using hacks themselves & the way they conduct themselves with others. The players skill really doest matter to me, it just usually ends up that these people are the same ones that actually have a good amount of skill.
Ill eventually say "hey lets add each other & you get my back & ill get yours". Problem is I never see any of these players on anymore save for 1 or 2 every once in a while now. Im guessing most of them arent playing anymore for the same reason I quit for a while & why you & many others are on the verge of going elsewhere. Getting fed up with the flawed kicking system & falling victim to it all the time.
Its not hard to add good, quality friends to your friend list. Just be cool, give respect when respect is given to you & do as I suggest, youll be fine. Just make sure youre selective about your friends & again dont add just anybody.Today has happend something strange...

Its actually a sad testament to the state of current affairs with this game when someone has to get excited about not being screwed over & wrongfully kicked & in addition when I am actually happy for said person & feel the need to tell them grats. Lol but there ya go.the only thing i can think of would be putting in a kill cam so that way player can wach how they died but then again most players just call hack to get a player they cant beat out of the room.....
Yeah, I think maybe that would help a little but for those that actually want to keep an open mind but I think far too many players would just ignore it...but maybe that would do enough good & be worth implementing. Yep, that happens quite a lot. A bunch of bogus reasons why people are wrongfully kicked. And you know, I just recently started noticing my rooms being filled with many players from the same clan. A few will be on one side & maybe a couple others on the other. I dont know why but I never noticed this happening until just recently. And at first I was skeptical & weary about it. Turns out I was right too.
One trend I noticed was one person from said clan would try to vote kick someone & then youd see the other members from the clan on the opposing side say f11 f11 f11 & try to encourage others to vote yes as well. Of course this is to be expected when you have players from the same clan. It wouldnt be very loyal if you went against your fellow clan mate but its inexcusable when youre using the kick system to unfairly kick someone & on top of it use your clan mates to gang up on someone. Which I have no doubt thats what was happening.
Its obvious this was nothing more than a tactic to wrongfully kick people for their own personal reasons, whatever that might be. Not cuz they were cheating. Either they just dont like the person or theyre trying to kick the good players out. Which bring me to a 2nd point.
I had one game recently where it went up to round 9, as my games always do, and from the very beginning up to round 9 there were 3 players from the same clan on BL, with 2 of their fellow clan members on GR. The 3 on BL were doing very well. They had a high kill count while the 2 on GR; the one guy had only 1 kill & the other had 2 kills...THE WHOLE TIME. And these 2 guys were extremely high ranked. Both of them ranked Company Officer - SECOND LIEUTENANT or higher. The | symbol. These were far from being noobs.
It was extremely obvious while on the GR side, they were pulling punches to allow their fellow clan mates on BL to win & also there probably to help with the vote kicks. This thoroughly ****ed me off. Low life pathetic losers like this that practice this kind of behavior can go to hell. And Ive chosen not to name the clan cuz frankly I dont know anything about them or the rest of their members. Only that theyre one of the top ranked ones & I can only hope their actions dont speak for the clan leader & the clan as a whole.
So after the game ended I kicked the whole lot of them. Later I had one them them rejoin my game and asked "why u kick me?". I replied, number one cuz of the fore-mentioned behaviors & told him if you wanted to have a clan match, then play with your clan; not here. SO from now on Im only going to allow a couple players from the same clan to play in my rooms & they have to be on the same side. But other than providing a credit card to prove youre over 18 which a lot of age restricted online services do, I dont see how else this would be done to prove your age. I wonder how many CF players would be willing to provide their cc info to prove their age to get into these 18+ servers.Man, pointless. Try playing on Delta, haven't been kicked from it yet (exept times I use AWM, as I'm specialising at sniping), there are usually more skilled people in there.

Or simply just make it so room hosts cant get kicked period. If a room host is hacking then the other players dont have to stay there and can go elsewhere.
There are enough decent, honest and legit players that create their own rooms that this wouldnt present a problem I believe. I dont think there would be an unreasonably large amount of rooms hosted by hackers.

Well, if youre so inclined & comfortably resigned to go with the flow of things & your ok with it, then by me thats fine and thats your right to feel that way, just as its mine & others to feel the way I & they do & attempt to take a pro-active stance on this matter & do something about it. Such is the purpose of this thread & others like it.
To many others, myself included, there is a much larger picture here then simply playing this game & confining ones own views & ideals to the preset parameters of this game & simply choosing to go with the flow. If thats works for you, more power to you. That doesnt work for me & so more power to me. I will continue my diligence & perseverance here.
Im thinking outside the box & am not content to go with the status quo on this matter. The kick system desperately needs to change. Thats an undeniable fact & is the core reasons threads such as this pop up here on a regular basis. Im not going anywhere atm & Ill be watching & waiting. ( : -

As do I. I wish there wasnt a need & irrefutable necessity for these concerns to be expressed & questions to be asked & suggestions to be made to try to figure out a way to correct this problem to begin with; that continuously plague many CF players. I wish there were no hackers & even more so I wish to be able to play this game without getting wrongfully accused of hacking & kicked on a frequent basis.
But wishing does nothing & action speaks louder than words. This thread & others like it is that action. In this format words are all we have & there has been a lot of intelligent & well laid out thoughts & ideas & opinions regarding this matter; in this thread & others.
And until Z8 chooses to effectively deal with this problem, words will have to suffice, from myself & any others that ever feel the need to express them & this & any other threads created like it about being wrongfully kicked due to false accusations will never go away. -
tsk tsk tsk... after reading through all these posts i actually got a bit of an honest inner laugh at you sorry ****s that took the time out to type stuff like I WISH THESE THREADS WOULD END. ha ha ha ha in your face. your probably the "ELITE PRO" that uses the hacks or abuses the kick system but above all you post your statement. this one is very simple. don't like the posts? don't read them... i mean, just how do they affect you anyway? do they make you reach for a Tums? please gander your fingers to this post and explain because i wanna LMFAO. keep in mind this is a loaded post. but I'm sure you will let that go in one ear and out the other.
this guy actually has the right frame of mind. i once at one time had made posts such as these but the GM's shut them down in fear of "FLAME" a cowardice act if you ask me. of all the sorriness we all see in the game one thing is the most sorry as even here... users don't stand together and FORCE these GM's to get off there lazy butts and talk to there superiors about this. and in fact what would be even a more NOBLE act would be if the GM's put there foot down and said "HEY, LOOK!" ....... ya know.. in a perfect world, just think about this... picture the GM's saying to the programmers "were not your GM's anymore if your not going to do something to make the players happy and CONTINUE treating them like the actual people putting money in your pocket!" just a little respect would be nice once in a while ya know?
take this rant how ever you want but despite how i sound about things i actually play alot.
and i have got MANY people from other guilds clans and clubs from other games i play to play CF. and id bet at least 1/3 of those people have bought ZP.
ironically enough, most of those players have turned there head because of all of the insane hack codes that Z8 allows to infiltrate. yeah thats right i said ALLOW. don't believe me?
well just think about it. there are sites that you gotta pay to download the hacks just like as if it was on a sales shop online. yup yup thats right got a credit card or what ever? just do an extensive search online and when you get there just click the button that says ADD TO CART
and you'll be "ELITE PRO" just like all those other worthless noobs that can only play with a handicap. then you can giggle like a little schoolgirl when your PWNING FOOLS that take the game to an HONEST level.
think I'm wrong? heh, theres some smart cookies out there making this game happen. but for some reason the new "HACK PREVENTION" thinks my GSC voice server is a illegal program as well as... now hold on tight to the next one i tell ya cause this one is a gas!
WINDOWS DEFENDER! OMG LIKE WOW that comes stock with VISTA for me. OMG i say again OMG. ok ok ok. i know, your thinking what is this guy tripping about. well heres a list of things there "HACK PREVENTION SYSTEM" don't think are hacks. AIMBOT, TELE-LAG-SPEED, WALLING ENHANCERS, or OMG LIKE WOW, the biggest **** up yet, GLITCH!!!!
i remember reading that if someone is using a hack or exploit that the game will pick up and notice it as unfamiliar and unfriendly thus, a hostile threat and BAN the user.
still yet, the same old glitches are there, trust me they do know about them but yet when they installed the new toy to stop all the demonic rug-rats from illing the game, they failed to add the glitches in as part of an UNLAWFUL usage in game play.
anyway, ima see how long this post/thread stays posted... GM's LOVE to put an end to this kind of talk...
but if you ever see PoopLump in game and want an honest player on your friends list just add me.
