A few days ago, I was contacted outside of CF means by Bad. Finished catching up with the situation after I regained access to forums...
First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! If you're reading this post within 24 hours, you are advised to hop off and go find a crystal ball affected by molasses-gravity, and do the countdown with friends =]. Right after, spam those without a text plan, lol.

Joined in open beta (february/march). Got to know Jio and Sneeze in pubs. Recruited to Serenity by JSchneider, and turned LT as I chipped in for Vent. GGs with jio/bad/bruce/sneeze/cypher/SYheads. VSGL admin. Left everything in may/jun due to lack of respect in VSGL (from vN1H).
Got to know Mystic, joined Trio. GGs but went solo again.
Reconnected with Cypher, joined Sorry. Some GGs.
Returned to Steam and joined COD4:MW2. Guest-scrimmed with aDr. Left MW2 and currently regret spending $60. Very embarassed it's in my Steam List.
Re-discovered Serenity Vent and dropped in on something called New/Revived Serenity. Found out my account was HACKED. Hacker changed my name to "Shaweesh" and obliterated my KDR, and joined some clan called "Arab Team":

Even though he changed names, the account/firstIGN is still registered in the CF Database Table as pudgypaw. And to make matters worse that acct still has my picture and contact info (Still has "contact via pudgypaw@cal.berkeley.edu" listed). Talked to Bruce/Mod about it. Currently I made this (IGN pudgypaws, Forum pudgypaw) to communicate in forums. But I won't enter a clan or the actual game until this situation is resolved.

As of now i still have no response from the support ticket guys anywhere... Quite the gg. Contacted yesterday by Smokey and currently with her, Bruce and others looking at executing WOGL; which I understand is some kind of tournament.

Got my account back
Just got my original account back (thanks z8 staff!).
Well I guess that means I currently have 2 accounts. So this is what having an alt feels like... a split personality? lol anyways
As I think I'm becoming some sort of admin for WOGL, that auto-disqualifies me from playing in it. Just my assumption.
So right now, I just want to relax and play with guys I know I already have chemistry with.. And the biggest bunch is hiding out in some clan called syntax..
Guess that wraps up the sitrep on me for now. Thanks for checking in with me guys! =] -

It appears the hacker changed the name back to Shaweesh, and this time deleted my photo and my email contact info as well. He must think I used that to track him and it's partly true. He doesn't know that I post on the forums, such as TODAY:

Well since this hacker re-joined Arab Team after a few days, I contacted the leader. He and I are closing in on this guy since the leader actually knows the hacker's brother (lol?).
On the other end, z8 staff was waiting for me to finish reformatting all my computers (to knock out any keyloggers) and I just got it done a couple days ago. Told them in a support ticket that I'm ready to get my main back (again).
And with the way things are flying, I think I'm going to break my tradition of sticking to one account and start entering the game with this one (IGN: pudgypaws). -
Wrapup!!
I'm going to wrap up my situation as 3 days has passed without my account being hacked.
- From Day1 I kept to one account (pudgypaw). In October2009 it's hacked.
- I made a new account (pudgypaws) to pursue the first account.
- Got the first account back in January2010, posted a bit on the forum, bought some ZP (rare) to IGN change it back to pudgypaw because I assume z8 wants me to spend money. Within 24 hours account gets hijacked again. Hacker then deletes avatar, stats, blows all my new ZP.
- I now pursue the hacker via z8 and real life. After some hunting I get close. The leader of the clan he kept joining (Arab Team) knows his real life brother. Clan leader based in Spain. Hacker based somewhere in mid-Europe.
- Clan Leader closes in on the left, tries to help me get 1st account back. Asks hacker for his account password (excuse is to add ZP). Hacker senses something is wrong and declines. Hacker immediately leaves the clan.
- z8 closes in from the right, resets my password (this is 3 days ago).
- I log in from a freshly-reformatted laptop to access the first account and change password. I then immediately reformat all 3 computer rigs in my possession. My brother finds 4 keyloggers on one of them prior to the move.
In these past 3 days I have learned a few things about how much z8/suba/CFstaff cares about us:
- They don't pay attention to support tickets. Every time I follow up on a support ticket they paste the same canned response (we need your login and challenge question/answer to proceed). I have to tell them to SPECIFICALLY look at the past history multiple times.
- They will always act in the interest of money. And use the TOS as an excuse. And ALWAYS follow up with "Sorry for the Inconvenience!". Even when I DID SPEND ZP to change IGN and get the error "NAME CHANGE FAILED", they still think I'm trying to extort favors or something.
As the day draws to an end and z8staff start betraying their IQ rating, my patience also wears thin. Their canned messages and short attention span is so irritating I'm actually considering leaving this game for good.
Listen up guys. The good parts of CF exist ONLY because we are here making it so. The Forums and Clan System keeps CF alive. We come back to CF for the friends we made and people we met. NOT FOR THE GAME ITSELF. CF is NOT GETTING BETTER. What keeps them alive is STILL BETA (beta clan server). If I have a chance to do it all over again I would have chosen something else when I took CS:S breaks. If I can take ALL the people I know and care about in CF and move everyone in one shot to steam/FB RIGHT NOW... I WOULD!!!!

I could have told you that right after they gave us hope of an EU server. Or after the suba > z8 change.

2 things
1) Tonight it appears z8staff graciously changed my main IGN from AlZeir_Salim to pudgypaws (i registered ign pudgypaw under my alt account when I was pursuing my account hack.er). I think this is a rare thing to witness in the CF universe, so I made a note of it here...
2) It seems Syntax has disbanded
This means I have 2 IGNs (pudgypaw and pudgypaws) available to join clans to do things and whatnot. But at the moment I think I will stay out of clans entirely until WOGL season ends. I do hope, when I return, to see the "beta clan server" lose it's "beta" tag. They had almost a year to polish out the DC/bug issues in that channel now and it causes the competitive community grief everyday.
