winchester underpowered wtf
kay so i won the winchester and was like omfg im so awsome and it say its a shotgun so im like double omg but when i started using it i found out it only shoots 1 bullet?! this is bs how can a shotgun only shoot 1 bullet? thats messed up.

Nope, it didn't get nerved. The Winchester always was a terrible gun. But what can you expect from a weapon made in 1886? It was never meant to be on par with the modern weapons we have, but instead as a fun-gun. One that "pro" players can use to challenge themselves when facing nooblets.

The Winchester isn't a shotgun anyways. It's a rifle. And yes, it got updates, the rof is higher now. -

while the gun was made for many years the most popular version was th 76' modle.. just a piece of info there
and it wasnt a rifle, it was a carbine,, i.e. a long gun that fires pistol ammo, which is what made it a popular gun, you only had to carry .44 pistol ammo for both your revolver and your long gun, the true rifles of the day were a Sharps .50, a Spencer .56, and a .45-70, the last two being very powerful but short ranged,
of course there were a host of other guns in use, but these were the most popular, with pistols, the "best" was the colt. but that had to do more with the shorter barrels than with any reliablility or accuracy- -

Second; The Winchester doesn't cover the range that the M700 does. In fact, beyond mid-range, it doesn't even cover the damage, nor the accuracy. So, it basically fires like a shotgun, but lacks the spread.

The Winchester has been buffed to being semi-decent, two shot kill at close to medium range and 4-5 at long, though people who normally use AR's like scar-L and AK will obviously say it suck because they are used to spraying their arses off and won't be used to actually having to aim with the winchester, to those just looking at this thread to see if the winchester is good or not, don't listen to anyone, get it and try it out yourself.
By the way, the Winchester is better than the Thompson stat wise, only thing Thompson is superior at is helping sprayers spray even harder, that is why its the best out of the crate.
Winchester = Rifle.
It was meant for the players who want to challenge themselves and have fun..it is one shot headshot so its for players who are adept at aiming. -
