When it comes time to pick new moderators you will see an application thread here on the forum. There are usually several criteria that are used to select from the list of applicants. One of the most important is how active and helpful a forum member is. For instance, before I applied for forum moderator there were a lot of unanswered questions in the Technical Support section. I devoted my time to assisting as many people as I could with there problems.

When we're ready to bring in more people we will open up the applications. They will be posted in the Cross Fire section of the forum however.
Post count is rarely an influence in the decision making process. Quality over quantity. Although being active without spamming does help get yourself known!
