"Failed to download patch-list file."

Hey guys..

I have a problems updating CF.
When i want to start the game and it want's to download the new patch i get the message: "Failed to download patch-list file."
Can somebody help me with this problem?

Servers are overloaded at the moment. I think this may be the reason of your problem. Try again in a few hours.

Then it can't be else that other people have the same problem as me?

It's not that "Servers are overloaded at the moment"
I have this problem for 3 days now!
I have the idea that CF is getting f*cked up last time.
Everybody is getting one problem after another.
I had 3 different problems in the last week and they where all coming with no reason and gone with no reason.
I really don't know what to do anymore. I keep re-installing the ****.
I'm getting kind of hate on the game!

dude, i've been having the same exact problem as you, except i've been trying to make a post on the forum, but it wont let me. Failed to download patch-list file, it wont let me play no matter what download i use!

Heh. I had the same problem. Just go into C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\ (now DONT RUN CF_G4box BUT RUN patcher_cf.

Im 100% sure it works dudes.

hmm.its a simple error. it seams your rez files is getting corupted our servers are just busy.just try again later.its a pain in the ass i know
