I want to play but all I get is error in initrenderer(). shutting down. please help.

try a complete uninstall(including deleting all the cf files) and reinstall

Do the following and it should work fine;

Right click on desktop > Click Properties > Click Settings > Click Advanced > Click Troubleshoot and slide the slider all the way to 'full'
