HAHAHA! Game Booster? If people knew ANYTHING about the general knowledge of CPU's, you can manually suspend processes by emptying applications running in your taskbar.

Load Crossfire
Once in game press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and open the task manager
In Task manager click the processes tab and order down CPU
crossfire.exe SHOULD be using between 40-53% of your CPU in run
Anything else that's running CAN be suspended (excluding explorer.exe which will run 1-4%). There SHOULD be nothing more than that running. Occasionally your have an app run scans, but that WILL NOT affect play. Downloading gamebooster is just more strain on your CPU, when you can manually do the VERY SAME task gamebooster does.

You wanna reduce lag and increase FPS; Play with the recommended specs;
Pentium 4 - 2G.0GHz, 1GB Mem, 1.2 GB RAM, DSL or Cable Internet, and PLAY IN YOUR APPROPRIATE SERVER.

That alone will reduce lag, haha...simply following directions.
