Xfire fix for Vista/7/XP!!! Easy as 1-2-3!

I recently used Rorzer's xfire solution (http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=30576&page=1http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=30576&page=1) to get xfire working with crossfire. However, as I discovered when I tried to explain it to my clan, its hard to do. I coded a program, which I will share with you, that takes all the hard out of the modification. Simply close (exit) xfire and run the program! Thanks to Openrage for testing it!

Nice job, I scanned a second time and found no viruses. I'm pretty sure it works, I'd recommend it for people to use.

Haha of course you found no viruses. If I wanted to hack, I'd do it some other way than asking someone to download a simple file

Yeah, it works, it uses the same method as Rorzor.

Um... Xfire just released an Xfire update that makes it run with the North America version of crossfire. I'm not sure if it works yet, I'm gonna try it.

this does not work for xp, it says it can't find the xfire_games.ini file.

Yeah, cause of the different folders of XP. I am trying to find out where that info is on xp, but its not easy..........

Will this fix having Xfire ingame enabled causing the game to become unresponsive before it hits the loading screen? i've been having that issue ALOT and its ****ing me off so much, it doesn't happen when i have ingame disabled, but with ingame enabled, it shows the log in screen, then black screens seconds after it hits the log in screen and won't respond, so i have to close crossfire and then it says "Crossfire error" with either a blank text box or "send error report" under it, please, will this fix this problem?
