How can I explain this... how about this:
If you spin a wheel that has 1 in 100 chance of winning the top prize 99 times and have not won it yet then what are the chances of you getting the top prize in the next spin?

Answer: 1 in 100. The odds do not change per spin.. you might win it in one go or never.. it's a gamble. :S
