It seems that Z8 has again messed up CF, first with the swap over from Suba. (yes Z8 staff have redeemed themselves for that)

and now with X-Trap screwing everyone out of their game and limited time items.

so how about another game protection software?

The vast majority of people are able to play just fine since Xtrap was implemented. They are not going to be switching antihack systems anytime soon, as this one is actually effective. If you have an issue then post it in the tech support section.

There is Major conflict issues with the security update for window XP pro (mid dec), XP home (mid jan) 32 and 64 bit systems. Striker755 has it well summarised. I spent 4 days researching it all on the forums, trying everything i learnt and gathered and after a clean boot (ie NOT running any Microsoft updates and background programmes - by using MSCONFIG to disable - then it ran sweet.
It is nothing to do with antivirus software - as that turned off, gamebooster turns most off but MSCONFIG, use GMsaiden notes on general fixers for game (has link to window XP site for MSconfig shutdown of Microsoft services etc), makes sure no external services or Microsoft related background programmes run - then it runs sweet. They probably want us all to update our XP windows to window 7 ffs.
I was able to play all xmas untill 14 jan when XP home had its secuity update - it confliucts with xtrap. Just working through which external service is the conflicting programme.

I use both Windows 7 and Windows XP Professional, and I keep my system up to date with all of the latest windows updates. There has been no conflict for me with any of the security updates. Again, if you have problems running the game it's an isolated incident and you need to use the tech support forum for assistance.

I know it's not going to fix 100% of the problems, but sheesh...even after xtrap updated, I joined a match and some toll is running around aimbotting the snuff out of my team...(10 perfect HS's in a row, 15 kills in a row, not missing a single bullet...-_-)

I bet it has nothing to do with xfire either...I bet SmileGate just needs to fix the game client or something...change some pointers or something...

The level of hackers is the lowest it has ever been. I play this game every day and try to visit as many servers and rooms as possible. While I have not seen a "stupidly" large amount of hackers, I have encountered dozens upon dozens of false accusations. In fact, I have been personally kicked out of several games because most people seem to think that anyone that is capable of getting a 3.0 kdr must be cheating.
