Ping spikes like crazy?

Okay, I normally have less than 20 ping because I live near the servers, but today my ping randomly started to spike to like 700+ to 1000 something, its so BS because when I shoot someone my scar l is supposed to own them but instead I get killed and it barely or does no damage at all?
Help?

You can try some of these - I too, have a ping lower than 20.

a) Restart your computer - If your computer's been on for a while this could help.
b) Run Gamebooster and/or Defrag - sometimes a help, for me sometimes unnecessary.
c) Check for other programs running in the background through task manager > Processes > End Process.
d)RQ off Cf.

If you're playing wireless well then it's bound to happen.

I use wireless, and I have less than 20 ping normally and spikes never happen to me unless I'm downloading something or something is taking a lot of memory.

Its karma for using a scar-l....nah jk, i have wireless to and i get ping spikes every now and then to but almost never in the 700-1000 range maybe you should get a new wireless adapter or router.

wow im not alone =o?

someone answer me this, im using a wireless router, but as far as i know my desktop is connected through ethernet, why do i still get ping spikes?

Maybe your comp fails? Try updating your hardware, or better uninstall and reinstall thats how I fix my problems (most of the time)
