high ping help cant paly

hey i have aproblem with my ping i paly a long time cross fire and i love this game

in my first time of cross fire i have a ping of 120-135 normnal good ping no lags all okay after many patch i have aping of 189-220 cnat play i saw it to late because i cant look pings now i can but i cant play with a high ping with the christmas patch i have a ping of 120-135 normal all fine but the fix patch have take my ping to 189-220 help pls i need a low ping to play cross fire with the stupid high ping i cant play i can shoot and nothing but all can kill me easy that dont funny

i come from germany
have vista

and very good internet pls help me

Well restart your modem about 30minutes not 5min and call your company maybe the try to fix something and they are making it worse xD

well i thing the problem it with the patch dont the connection withm my company after the one patch i have a lowerping and after the fix patch i have ahigh ping that crazy i need a low ping so that i can play but thansk for u fast answer^^

hmm well i dont think so that crossfire made your ping high but yes it could be

i hope its terribel to play with a so a high ping...so i cant get good statistics and after this one patch i have low ping and the second patch do my ping high

I've been in italy before but the ping there was like 160 but that wasn't laggy some ppl in the states get like 120 ping no big deal but if ur ping is like 200 or above thats a bit bad, but if ur ping is above 300 go to barbie website and play there instead lol.

well my ping was 30-50 and now it turns into 500 and above i have good internet but don't know why i wish there was no such thing as ping and could play with lagging

I have a feeling it has something to do with the servers. Somehow I Spike to 500 or more now after w/e happened.
I cant wait for the new patch. ZOMBIE MODE IS FTW!

I have the same problem, my ping spikes anywhere between 20-500. When it's normally 9-20. I live in Canada, I have Windows XP. My FPS is normally around 40-80, and my computer has 108GB of free space still. With CrossFire running the total Mem Usage is only about 400,000 K.

try all the diff servers play in a server closest to ur country or go play pacman

Find the server with the best ping and play there.. You say 500 ..wow My ping is 50/70 I see spikes up to 500 only when Im dead... I was thinking this is xtrap scanning ?? Is this true.. Only when the xtrap scanner is running do I see these spikes...
