Excuse us, we can not use xfire to record. PLease GMMMMMMM.Its only us and we have an excuse so why not tell them?

Easy fix guys, anyone can do this...

Modify your xfire_games.ini file and find the Crossfire entry. Make it look like this:

[5652]
LongName=Cross Fire
ShortName=crssfre
LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Cross

Fire_is1\Inno Setup: App Path
LauncherExe=CF_G4box.exe
DetectExe=crossfire.exe
;PlayingDetectType=ByWindowSubstr
;ProcessWindowTitle=CrossFire
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS%
InGameRenderer=D3D9
InGameFlags=ENABLE_MOUSE|USE_DINPUT_MOUSE|VALIDATE_USING_EXE_NAME
RunElevated=1

Yes, this means that Xfire has _intentionally_ disabled ingame for Crossfire. They did this well before they announced the video tournament. Someone, somewhere, is a real f---ing idiot.

I have windows xp pro 64 bit version, which is actually Windows Server 2003 dressed up like XP.

it works fine now, you just have to change it again everytime xfire does a game update. (read: often)
