Hi. I'm Denxi. I'm here today to address a growing problem in our community. Clan Names.

Many people make the descision to make a clan, but oneof the hardest things is deciding on a name. Making a name with alt code characters, or names with brackets around the first character (e.g. [P]ro) is cool right?

WRONG.

Beleive it or not, having a clan name like that makes you look like a total******bag, and makes all the competitive players look upon you with scorn, calling you and your clan mates *******s.

Please, help stop moronic names today. If you see a friend who names his clan like this, please slap the **** out of him until he either comes to his senses, or dies.

You're telling me *-uPeR_ is a bad clan name!?!?!?

I'd have to say the same applies to names. -[OwN]eD**_ is garbage. Stop with the characters.

Also can't include the words gaming or pro. Or use any IRC references.

Good clan name examples are:

Tele Tubbies
Man Bear Pigs
It Was Lag
Internet Explorers

etc.

Oz gave me the one "We Survived Abortion" but it's over 12 chars.

I still have the clan name "Like A Boss" under the first Pubstar* character I think.

we had to decide quick or the clan would of been deleted for being Fv.ckAllClans before it.

lol..just saw Suxon My Kurdik..Guild Wars ya? I chill at that one where you make the animal carriers go faster and all you do is run around and cap. Not AB..Not Fort Aspenwood..the other one..I forgot it lol

Yep i fully agree, those names look stupid. I feel sad when i see my clans name has [E] at the start.

Also, really hate it when clan names dont have a capital letter at the beggining.

names do not matter dood
skill does...

one disadvantage is that your clan would be really hard to find if it has symbols... unless you're in the top 10 =p

Whysostupid?

Obviously names matter for first impressions. The moment I, or almost any other competitive player see a clan that has alt characters in their name, we immediately think "Noobs" and don't play them.

Pretty Pink Pownies is a good one, plus you can use the tag up your names with 3P which is pretty legit. Although I could never convince anyone to use that name sadly.
