Auto Kick of Idle Players?
What about a detection system for idle players?
Such as in a round mode game if a player is idle for say 1 round it warns everyone that this player has been idle for one round, and will be kicked after, say...5 rounds? Or in a timed game, say a player is idle for 3 minutes, same thing. A Warning System after 3 minutes, then automatically kicked after say 6 or 10 minutes?
Something like this would keep players fresh out of idling games, and possibly help in sorta making farming just that more harder?

I think this is a good idea, although the time should be shorter.
Games with rounds
Idle for 1 round: warning
Idle for 3 rounds (including warning round) kick
Games with Kills
Idle for 3 minutes: warning
Idle for 5 minutes: kick
Also to reduce idles we could add a penalty for idling. -
Decent enough Idea, not sure how easy it is to implement thought. It wouldn't be that hard to implement a timeout system. The game already has 1 in the lobby, where is shuts down CF when you're idle for too long. The only way to prevent it, is to go to Storage.
The problem lies with the time limit. How long should a person be idle to make kicking him fair? I sometimes get a phone call during the game, and am forced to be idle for 3 to 5 minutes.

i agree... maybe a button saying your gonna be afk?
and those that are just being idle kicked after 3-4 minutes
but this wont stop farmers
they can just have their character run around for a few secs so they wont be autokicked -
Yeh, but it would make it more tedious. Wouldn't stop Pro farmers, but little nublets it would.
Like the guy I saw with 28k kills, 1k deaths, who Called me a noob the whole way though a game, because he said "You are not worthy to talk to me, come back when your kdr is as good as mine" -

It isn't fair to let your team mates suffer just because you get a phone call would it?
And I think the system should be based on time, after I thought about it some rounds take a really long time.
Idle for 3 minutes = Warning
Idle for 5 minutes = No exp at end of game (will stop clans from idling in games and getting free exp)
Idle for 10 minutes = auto kick -
when the game start it should clean up ll afkers in the room after a certain amount of timegj matt lol
ya i agree... also, while waiting for a game to start in the room, players who are so stubborn to ready up should be auto kicked to the lobby
but ingame afkers is just
esc -> kick vote -> name -> ok
if the others dont agrre then to bad camp the afk guy and get kills of free kill hunters -

Yah but the vote system isn't really fair either. If you don't vote it counts as an object. Plus a lot of the opponents just press f12 because they want a free kill. Remember the "yes" votes have to be 2x more than the "no" votes in order to kick the player.
Also it's not only the free kill thing. It's also the team getting 1 less player, plus in search and destroy or ghost mode if the afking player has the c4 blacklist has an even lower chance of winning. -

Idle for 10 minutes = auto kickPhone calls aren't planned for. And even though I'll be AFK, I'll be dropping the bomb for my team to pick up by making sure my G button is pressed down throughout me being AFK. So, if my team suffers so much because I'm not helping them, then they sucked to begin with, and auto kicking me won't make them play any better.

The auto kick will remove the player because he/she is not needed. Therefore allowing another player that will actually play join. It doesn't matter if it will help the team or not.
EXACTLY!
@LolliRoger You're right phone calls aren't planned for but as soon as you leave the comp you are now useless and if you are auto kicked it will make space for someone useful. What you said is kind of selfish, Cross Fire is a team game, everyone's performance affects the team as a whole, meaning if you go afk your team will suffer, having 1 less player.
