For some reason, between Christmas and January 10, CrossFire was manifestated by a noob invasion. Now the servers are filling up, new posts being made, and more trolls shooting Scar Lights.
No offense to you, but the peeps who need to read this, don't. There goes 5 minutes... -
i hate it when a little baby whines about cra.p like this...just bc we play and pay for this game in some way or another dosent mean we should get to know every single thing that goes on. yea it would be nice but we dont own it...we dont run it. do you have any idea whatsoever how much time and frustration is caused by brats like you. shut up and deal with it. the more you complain the less were going to get. they dont have to tell us there plans. we dont really have a right to know...regardless of what you think. the best you can do is support the game you seem so passionate about and maybe help other people understand instead of posting trash like this. im sure the people at z8 are trying to come up with somthing new and fresh. and there doing it for you. and when they say there not going to tell you dont cry about it. the less garbage you post is less the creators have to hear about. they can consintrate more on what there doing and give us more. you have to give to get. give some of your patience and we would get more from them. show some maturity. calling them ignorant isnt goin to help you at all...grow up.

I hate when people pull the free game thing, Counter-strike is like 9 bucks, you buy it, then that's it, you play. This game people are consistantly buying zp , 10k zp is as much as CS. Think how many people have spent money on this game.........Anyways I'm with you X and hope to get some updates soon.

Anyway, enough of that. I somewhat agree with the OP, but I also realise it's probably an endless cycle. No matter how much we try, we probably won't change anything to the way information is spread towards the players.
The one thing the OP forgot is the UK server. That to me - and many others - is the perfect example of how the players get misinformed and mislead about the game.
I'd like to see a proper response by Saidin (yeh, thats how you spell his name) on this topic. -
Denxi said in his post that PCF "dropped" this new mode WHILE there still in open beta.
He is wrong. I downloaded the game and there are only the Default Modes. (FFA, Demolition Mode, TDM, Wipe Out (EM) and Ghost Mode). So don't get based in a website information because there isn't any kind of Mercenary Mode in PCF.Saiden, Saidan, Sadian.

I agree with X, the way this company relates to its customer base isn't healthy. It holds things back and gives nothing to anyone who it has wronged. I learned this when the West Coast Server was down for a month. They were horrible.
This is how I think it works.
Z8 is just a company that bought the game to host.
G4 was probably the distributer. If you want a game server in Australia you have to pay these guys for the regional rights. Thats why europe and Australia dont have local servers. Z8 doesnt own those regions. Thats why different companies have Japan, China, Korea.
Smilegate made it and makes all add ons and patches. The companies like Z8 who have the game rights for a region are offered (through G4) for a fee any add ons and patches. Maybe Z8 just doesnt have the customer base to afford any extras.
Treat us right Z8 because given the right moment our loyalty to you will be tested. Will you have prepared us? I think not.

i way the GM's communicate and interact with the community is very poor
maybe if they started asking us what we wanted more people will be inclined to buy zp

Actually you have the right idea...But instead of sending them the benjamins. DONT send them the Benjamins. Thats the real way to send the signal. So in a way we actually agree.
Ive Spent about $130 bucks on CF....about $45 on cod4. $35 on Star Wars Galaxies. about $20 on Medal of Honor Allied assault. and several more on various others..So for me CF has been anything but free. So to act like they are being this altruistic entity for the enlightenment of mankind...Give me a break. They are a business and they NEED happy customers to exist. The point the OP was making is they are doing a mediocre job at best in doing so.
So I say to all players. if its truly free.....stop buying zp! But if you decide to ooen your wallet and buy them...Shut up with the free thing.
As far as actually competing with other Off the Shelf FPS CF is not a gem. Its adequate. They offer it for free because its the best way to draw in a lot pf players. If they had a price tag on it and it sat in Best Buy it would gather dust. They know that! They need a vibrant comunity to make it viable. Without a vibrant community there would be no ZP purchasers and therefore no money. If they continue like this they will loose when the next free bobble is dangled in front of the masses. They should be cultivating us into a loyal group ready to defend our game to the bitter end. But alas they treat us like their demographic.
Information blackouts are z8 business practice. Taking weeks or months to solve haking issues. Not fairly compensating people who have been through no fault of their own robbed of their purchases due to outages or game hiccups. All of these things are the way they do business. But its not to late. There is still time.

Agreed, Paying for zp is like buying 2 other games. 9 -CS - 17 -Gothic Gold edition. You guys say's it's an option, But when you actually use that option and buy that zp is not only supporting Crossfire, and It's adding more content. What people are complaining here is saying not only did another version Get another mode, They receive it during a testing phase and less then then usual time implemented. As we wait months to receive something basic, Like a anti-hack update, BlackScreen Error,Crashes After matches,Incompatibility issues,Ping Issues,In-Game Mechanic in-completion, More content,etc More then 2weeks, less then 2months. Even longer at times. -

So sad. GMs have all the right to add modes or not, if they feel that the mode won't do good in the game they wont add it. If they dont like the idea of copying css just so some players can use zp guns because there too poor to afford zp (yes im talking about you, no i dont care if you have zp guns or bought zp) Its up to them. The community dont have any right to demand any modes, its the gm that work hard to get everything set and release, we jsut mooch off there hard work for fun.
