Montage
well i was thinking of starting a montage eventually like one of those long 5-10 minute ones... anyway i have a few clips ready by now but can anyone recommend any editing software that is easy to comprehend. I am going to get the cracked versions. i know sites 
just need the names of programs.
i heard sony vegas was good?

I dont like 9.0 I would go with 8.0. Sony Vegas one of the best out there.
Vegas pro 8.0 is what I use.
But if it's your first tage vegas might be a bit hard to use.
Perhaps try camtasia or something.
Also, do a few QC's beforehand. A 5-10 minute tage without knowing what you are doing will be really tough. -

i have camtasia studio 6.0 already. see what i can do there thanks -

ok so i explored and watched the tutorial for transitions... but what about the different gun sounds/syncing people talk about. i am going to take a wild guess and say... they place the sound clip whenever they shoot with the awm or w/e?
I find it's best to just use the in-game sounds.
If you are recording replays it shouldn't be a problem for lag etc.
If you absolutely can't then get a cs:s awp sound from fpsbanana.com.
Syncing means the shots go with the music, not just a random track playing in the background. -

ya that is what i thought -.- sounds simple enough. i will stick to camtasia and i will try the syncing whenever i have time -
Let's see, first of all, it's a frag video, not a montage.
Second of all, get sony vegas 8 or 9. Preferably not illegally but I can't control what you do.

a great site to watch frag videos and learn to sync, add flow, and just edit in general. get ideas from watching videos. -
I would say vegas 8, If if you're just starting off its better to just to start to learn.
