Ghost mode unbalanced?
Over the past 2 years, I've been playing Cross Fire on and off and yes, I have played from the time that Subagames owned Cross Fire. I have also read many things on the internet about Cross Fire and heard that Cross Fire overall was "suckish". I do not agree with this. There are others who say Cross Fire sucked ever since it was sold to z8 games. I do not believe this either. The new anti hack system is currently impossible to bypass which makes the game so much better then a year ago when the game was full with hackers, when 6/10 players were hacking. However, the melee ZP weapons make the game almost as "suckish" as people say.
I mostly play GR in ghost mode and am very good at it. However, since the invention of axes and shovels GR could hardly ever win. Even if someone on GR had a ZP gun, the axe and shovel still manage to unbalance the game. This is because the axe and the shovel simply have too much range and with lag they hit even further. I am not saying if you have an axe or a shovel in ghost mode you are invincible; I have killed many "ZP noobs" while playing as GR.
I suggest disabling the use of melee ZP weapons in ghost mode completely or putting more weight into the weapons so that they slow you down a lot. Right now, a ghost with a shovel or axe moves faster than a GR with an m4a1 making them almost invincible in teams of 2 or more.
Please do something about this unbalance, it is making ghost mode not fun for GR.

Assuming you're talking about only the SG/Z8 version.
It doesn't really matter what weapons the ghosts use. If you're good at GR they never get near you. Although recently I've noticed that the breath down as been buffed hard for some reason. You literally can't hear it until after you've stood on then or exactly right next to them for 1-2 seconds. -

Maybe I should send you a replay? You're right, if you're skilled some ghost with an axe or shovel can't get near you but breath and footstep noise down is really buffed, and you can hardly hear them at all. Thus with 2 or more ghosts with axes or shovels rushing you, you will surely die. -

i think its perfectly balanced, axes and shovels aren't problems for me, just jump away as soon as they rush and mow them down, just make sure to keep dodging them -

its easy to get near any gr, i play BL a lot and i'm very pro at bunnying -
even against clans such as pan[th]ers (many times they will hear my breath if the path isn't direct tho), also on some of the very best gm players i know; masterbrett being an example, we all know hes famous ;p.[MOD]Goddish wrote: »You're playing in pubs with not good players.

Err, I don't think you've played as GR. Ghosts move faster than you plus shovels and axes do long range. Plus you just admitted that it is hard to spot ghosts because of b hop...
