There will an official announcement from the GM's and it will also be posted when the you first click to load you game.

I'm just asking because i saw some talk about the tar coming out next patch and i figured there may be a thread or something that told us or an official statement. anyone know if the tar is actually coming out next patch?

No it's not a noob question. Everybody gets curious about stuff like that and so we ask others. I don't personally know when we will have our next patch. I would count on sometime in January partially because I don't think we should have xmas maps and weaps all the way through untill February. Also because of the complaints of the Xmas map glitch I think they are trying they're hardest to get another patch done to remove it. Once again this question is okay but don't demand that Z8 needs another patch or bug Saiden or FallenAngel. The developers at Z8 work very hard and are already pushing their limits to develop this game further.
