I have been wondering for a while what determines the GP and EXP you get at the end of a match?

That i know but sometimes when i am in a match with a pro 1 on 1 i always get dominated.Sometimes when he killes me in the 40's or 50's and i kill him/her like 5 or 6 times i get quite a bit of gp of gp(not sure if it's gp or exp.),why?

I actually think, How much the repair of your weapons costs + some GP to actually gain something
