Actually its pretty creative, but its just he's done better.
I think its the white Bg that makes it seem plain..

Why not try adding more stuff to the bg image or filling in the white.

Btw everyone that aren't a pro with photoshop can do the same as you do.
Pick up an image on google then go to dafont.com and download a nice looking font and write dirty playa and that's it. You have a nice clan wallpaper ][_,[()]][_,

That is easy.
Basically, all you did was get a stock picture, crop it to a wallpaper size, then added text and changed the color so that it would blend in.

Just like how someone said; Lack of creativity.
[And if you reply back saying if I can do better, then I would reply saying 'OF COURSE, I'll start making one right now]

I've done more than those simple stuffs, of course u can do better i can make better too but only in 2min i can't. Any way the message was for djflamez in 2 minutes i made more than copy paste an image on google and write the clan name. And btw i made the background.
