would be better if we could change them into coupons...
i`ve got about 20 black market guns for a time and i never use them so why cant we change them

it used to be able to sell it. But people kept selling the m16+m700 and buying a gun, then selling that gun and having about, what, 16k left? Then they would QQ to the GMs and they took selling guns off.

you used to sell starter guns in closed beta, but the problem was that if they did they might not have had any money to buy another gun, thus your stuck with just a knife

What would be the point of breaking a M16? [Sorry if people have already answered this because I only look for the starter post]
Though it would make life easier for the poor people on CF :] So it would be a great idea to make it a market item.

You don't get 10 GP, you save up, but it is sort of bad since playing with an almost broken m16 is horrible...for me.

Why do people hate default guns so much?! I just don't get that. Players should learn to use their starting guns properly then if they can master them, they will be pwning with other guns (just like stepping stones xD).
BTW M16 rox, I can use it well in S&D, pwning M4 and "Skil-Lite' users easily. Just a bit hard to master that's all. If someone can master a FULLY-BROKEN M16, then that person can master ANYTHING in his/her hands (including all the hated/under-rated weapons such as M9, Uzi, Scar-Heavy, M60, Galil, ect.)
Anyway, good luck with your M16.

I still don't think the M16 is that good, but I just think it's not bad, it's usefull.

And wow it's hard to control a friggin broken M16.

lol, dude.
you get gp at the end of each game to repair your gun plus a little.
if you never repair your gun, you just get free gp.
hows that hard to understand
