CF PUG Community
CF PUG Was starting in April of 2009. It has since died. Blitzd and I will be bringing it back the way it's supposed to be. 
I know another "PUGG" group has started up. You can go pug with them if you want, just know that this is the ORIGINAL PUG group. They only made one because of the "hacks" or something.
Anyways, there will be NO growler required. Admins will look at replays and determine whether people are cheating. These will be admins that KNOW what hacks are, and can decide between in-game hacks and vent hacks.
You MUST join the PUG group to play in the PUGs. It is the ONLY way we can reach you to see if you would like to PUG. This is a NEW group. I will be deleting the old one. It was at 300 members at it's highest point.

Rules:
- 2 Halves of 9 rounds each.
- Teams are picked by captains, or through a randomizer (http://www.bluwavedesign.co.uk/tests/teams.php)
- If the majority don't want SPOP, there will be no SPOP
- Only S&D matches.
- Must be in a 5v5 format.
- ZP guns ALLOWED
- NO Growler required
We will NOT be doing the draft for a while. We need to see that there are pugs going daily before we do a draft.
To play a PUG:
First go into the vent and get in the "PUG Waiting Room" channel. If there are people in there, just wait until you are picked. If there are no people in there, ask anyone and everyone on the xfire list if they would like to PUG. Then pick your captains and a map, and play.

Do NOT disturb the other members on the vent. ONLY go in the CF PUG or Pub lobbies. If your caught disturbing clans that are scrimming or don't want you in their channel, you will be banned for a week.

I am highly looking forward to this. Most clans in this game are garbage but there are good players. Bring all the good players from all the clans in one place and that will just make people better than they are which will hopefully bring the competitive community back.

I don't see how its a bad idea at all.
People cheat, face it.
I'd rather play with the assurance that the guy going 22 - 4 has legit proof.
And yeah, the center of the screen shows the crosshair more clearly. When you're teamviewing the quality is awful anyway so it makes it closer and more clear.
At 20fps, its pretty smooth and if the people are bright green then its kind of obvious whats going on. I don't need the whole screen, just the area around the crosshair. -
If you start to have people growler on a PUG..it becomes more tedious than getting 5 players of your team on at once to scrim. PUGs are just for fun. Unless someone is dropping a 40 bomb each half or is speed hacking through the map, I don't care. The community knows who is good and knows who isn't. If a random person comes in and starts dropping 20 bombs everytime..We'll ask him to growler.
Btw..deleted the original PUG group. The new PUG group is now the only one. -
I think growler should be necessary if the persons history is questionable. We should make recording mandatory if it is requested before the pug begins. Just my opinion. Anyone who has made a name for themselves in this game has done it with growler or ACS in league. And if you are lookin to make a name for yourself now, then growler would be the best way. I say this because in the old pug vent days, people found clans, and clans found new membs from pug vent.

No it's just not worth it to do a 5v5 that means absolutely nothing. Unless you care about doing bad, then it means the world.
Just had a tight first PUG of our reformation. And another right after. Kewl.
