Left Hand

Ok here is the problem, i used to play counter strike 1.6 using left hand, i am an idiot and took me 1.5 month to realize i could configure CrossFire to play left hand as well. The problem is, when i go ingame and go to options and tick the left hand option and save it, every time i switch channel my weapon goes down to my right hand. Every time i join the game my weapon is back to my right hand.

Am i doing anything wrong? Should i configure that somewhere else? Is that a bug? Is there a way to fix it? It's really annoying to have my weapon back to my right hand every time i join the game or switch channels, i always forget to go back to options and switch it to left hand so half of the time i play with right hand and i want to play left hand.
