New Weapon & Item Ideas



I did not put in cost on purpose, these are just ideas. Chances are most of these items will be ZP or Crate only items if they are considered. Below are some notes on the items:
-DSR1 (Which may also be called the DSR50, same model I believe) Would have around a 3 shot clip, with 10 extra clips. (3/30 is generally the clip/total ammo when you have the weapon fresh.) Average reload speed. Only has the x2 zoom level.
-FN-57 USG [M] is a support gun, this gun is meant to slow opponents with accurate shots, depending on where its hit. Generally slowing movement speed (to the walk) and reload time to be 50% longer at its maximum effect. The downside is, it does no damage, its effects are temporary. (Duration is debatable.) Also its ammo is expected to be low. Aiming for a 6/24 as the clip/total ammo amount with a slow reload.
-Hawk T97-1 is pump by default and the stats reflect such for power. The automatic stat is for when is switch to such (using the alternate fire) at the cost of 5-15 points of power. The standard ammo size is 12/48, however it does not benefit from the slot reload feature and uses magazines, making it challenging for those who like using the shotgun on the go. Average Reload.
-HK G11 P-2, has a x1 zoom level and ammo is 50/150 for clip/total ammo capacity. Average Reload.
-Combustsion Grenade, explodes ON IMPACT, it does not blow up until it hits something. Explosion range is debated to be like the snow/vodoo/heart grenades or just normal blast radius.
-Binoculars, has all levels of zoom. Not only great for seeing enemies at a distance, but if focused on an enemy for a period of time their location would be pinned to your team's radar until they move out of sight (where the radar indicator would fade), the user switches away from their binoculars or the teammate using the item was killed. The downside to this item is it leaves the user defenseless but still able to move easily due to its low weight. The original intention was for this item to be equipped in the melee/knife or grenade slot. Will not be effective in Ghost Matches.
Please note that these are just my ideas. The stats above are just rough estimates, hence there are no numbered statistics. Also note that I did do some modifications to the weapons in some places, having little information to go by or wanting to add to the experience.

I honestly just see this trying to become AVA and implementing some of their ideas. Binoculars that lock onto their target to pinpoint? Entirely AVA as I've tested out their system. Some of the other pieces look relatively decent but we have more than enough sniper type weapons out their for your variety.

Some of the other pieces look relatively decent but we have more than enough sniper type weapons out their for your variety.

To be perfectly honest, I've never heard or even played AVA, I'm assuming this is a new fps or something? The reason for the temporary pinpoint is I didn't want the bino's to be completely useless for just seeing, a sniper could easily accomplish that. But I thought of the team aspect. A shame its not something original, but I guess thats impossible in this day and age.
As for weapons, there's not always the variety one wants. There's always hybrid's of some fashion people feel comfortable with and thats really what that one rifle does. Thanks for the opinions and info at least. ^..^ -

- HKG11P-2: I think it looks way too overpowered, but that's just what it looks to me.
- Binoculars: I think locking onto target is not a very good idea, like, the target would be shown even through walls and stuff? Or it would just lock when you actually can see the enemy but you're far away from him?
And as hoanmanh said, we have a lot of small maps, so I think (and that's just my opinion) that the binoculars should be a feature in all big maps like DesertStorm, BlackWidow, Port and Santoria. I mean, in the begining of the match a box would come asking if you want to use the binoculars instead of using your grenades, for example. The binoculars would replace some other weapon.

Well, the HKG11 P-2 was just meant to be the 'all round weapon' and as stated the stats were just estimates. Could be lowered and so on, but the ideas are for more than just that. Second, the target would be shown on the radar, not like chammer vision. They would appear as a red dot on such while the bino user has a visual. It wouldn't be able to go through total cover. (But if a foot showed a bino user could still spot them.)
And I actually intended the binos to replace either a grenade slot or possibly even the knife slot. Even though many maps may be small, the advantage of binos in maps even for strategical reasons are good. Maps like Eagle Eye, Prison and so on could benefit from this since the binos could target necessary threats, where a team can focus.
Also to answer your questions, i used GIMP and used the actual game files to make a collage of this stuff that was scattered about since they are only in TGA format. After that it was simple. I'm hoping to do more, if I can find suitable weapons. -
cf has many stuff like ava, ava has escort, we has escape, cf has mutation, ava has infection, ava has AI, cf has AI, ava has capsule shop, cf has black market, cf is very similar to ava but since ava has the best graphics for a mmofps, ava takes the lead

Although the binoculars would be pretty cool in S/D battles, think about this, how do you expect to use it at a fast paced TDM? Or Zombie Mode? Mutation Mode / Hero Mode definitely out of the question. Ghost Mode? Maybe. So, I wouldn't really count on it being a complete hit with us players.
