Tips on Using the Thompson.

So i just finally got the Thompson yesterday. pretty good. Multi Kills are often.
Any1 have any tips on using the gun?

Dont use it for long range.

First shoot is very accurate at middle distance, considerating it is a SMG. Burst shoots of 4 at middle distance too are possible.

If you have many enemies in front of you, just spray. It doesnt matter if it is one or 4, all will come down

Thompson is a noob cannon too, but at least not as noob as Kriss or SL

.

Aim the head and Spray in close and mid range!!! and like he say Tifereth don't use it in long range

3 shot bursts at long range as you move closer.

Aim at the head first and then drag down.

You can't play like you have a rifle, so don't.

You'd think players listen to these tips, even though some of them are pretty helpful. Every time I see a player with a Thompson they just spray spray spray.

spray at the chest it will hit them in the head from the recoil. its really only good for CQC and med. range. long range? pull out uer deagle lol

Guns which are easy to use in CF, such as the Kriss and Scar-L, get tagged as 'noob weapons.'
It was the same with the MP5 in COD4...

On topic: The Thompson literally is spray and pray, only use it for close-quarters and small maps (just like all the subs).
