Ok this thread is mainly directed towards [MOD]Bruce and [MOD]BlindRob, and any other person who knows how to double jump

well since i made that initial thread in my attempt to learn how to double jump, i was successful... With luck and Rob's videos, I was able to get double jumping down pat...

after about an hour of practicing i had it pretty much good, you know the crates at the base in Ship? well i was able to get on it in 1-3 tries...

But now, i feel after the new patch... it's impossible...

ever since it, i have never been able to get up on it once.... after numerous accounts of trying...

although some other spots still work, (probably because they're lower) i do feel very frustrated that they patched this skill that i spent so long to master...

I am almost certain the developers lowered the height of the double jump... do others feel the same? and if this is true, i think they should change this back...

Its exactly the same as it was.

Just remember to crouch after you make that second jump.

really?.... how come i can never get onto that crate anymore?
same with the crate inside the Ship base

You must be doing something wrong.

The timing is just a bit different now. (after Xtrap patch) Needs some time to get used to. After that it's just as easy as it used to be.

All the crates on ship are a few units higher than crates on any other map, making them harder to DJ.

Try DJing on Columbia.

seems to work the same, ur timing is probly slightly off.

and i have to go back on CF and check this out again, anyone care to make a 1 on 1 room with me?

I can, mmm just re-practice I guess. I mean I do have moments where I epicly fail. But thats every now and then.

yes, they're like 1 or 2 units higher.

ok i just logged and tried it, it does seem harder, i can't do it as well as i used to...

probably the timing was changed a bit...
