Sound Problem (?)

I recently purchased a new headset (SteelSeries 3H USB) and I installed it all fine. Sounded great with CF and all. Only problem is it seemed to stop working with CF ever since the christmas update. No sound at all. I've tried reinstalling the driver. Worked one night then went back bad again. I get sound on any other game/program except CF.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It sometimes happens to head phones. If they work on other stuff like youtube, music etc. then i don't know what's the problems. Maybe it's something with your computer?

Try this and see if it helps........Go to your start menu and click on Run. Then type in DXDIAG and click Ok. After DXDIAG loads click on the sound tab. Towards the bottom there should be a setting for sound acceleration. Turn that setting all the way down and try playing CF again. This should work and if not I would RMA your new headset because it might be defective.
