Connection has been delayed!

This isn't because of the recent patch, I had this problem long before the patch.

So one day (over a month ago) I patched Crossfire and it worked fine. Then I had to do a System Restore (for a reason not caused by Crossfire) and I went back several days before I got downloaded the patch. Without the patch Crossfire wouldn't open so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it. From then on, ever time i try to join a game, it loads halfway and I get a message saying CONNECTION HAS BEEN DELAYED
