MP5-ADV's way better if you have the ZP. Low noise, barely any recoil, fast ROF and increased firepower makes one heck of an SMG. For non-ZP it would have to be the K1-A. I think it does more damage than the MP5 and with a faster fire rate. Unlike the MP5 you can also long-range with it by bursting. Plus the recoil is a bit more than the MP5 but still really easy to control.

Yes,i agree with both of ye. The K1a and Mp5 are the two best smg's for gp but the Kriss is obviously best in zp. The mp5-adv is great aswell but ye are forgetting the uzi! Great fun and a brilliant gm gun with its fast ROF and fast reload.
The Mp7 & P90 are brilliant guns in real aswell,but they are much too underpowered in crossfire. -

When i said Mp5 i meant all the MP5s like the normal one, Adv. one and the halloween one. -

XM8 is an assault rifle u dumbasss!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway i go with kriss and thompson, but as u may know mp5 is the best one, because not anyone could either kriss or thompson. Also mp7 is supposed to be a good gun, but this game made it a piece of ??? .:D -

He clearly stated SMG. I'm sure he couldn't care about a rifle like the AK.
Besides, considering he's asking this type of question, I highly doubt he'd want a gun like an AK since SMG users will suck with a lot of rifles. -

Even with the Kriss in competition, I'd say the best SMG is the MP5-Adv or MP7. I have/had all these guns, so I know what I'm talking about.
