Proposal: Item Borrowing
My idea is this, a bit different than the "Gifting/Trading/Donating" thing I hope.
I know some people wish they had a certain gun or item for certain rounds, but didn't have any money nor did they wanna get it through crates or coupons if they even could. But lets say their friend had said item. These are my ideas for allowing such transaction:
-Borrowed Items are like the Black Market where they are borrowed for a limited time until they are returned. They do not get these items permanently. (Also since they are temporary, like Black Market items, they can't be resold by the receiver.)
-No ZP item transactions. For obvious reasons. (Includes ZP Black Market crate items.)
-Sender or Receiver must pay a GP fee for item's transaction.
-Rank restriction, where only certain ranks or higher can send.
-Optionally, ONLY Black Market items can be borrowed, and only those with timers.
-Optionally, ONLY Clan transactions.
This will hopefully will cover the "protects our assets and players from scams and fraudulent transactions" since the effective items are only temporarily for use, and there wouldn't be any ZP items involved. It will also allow clans to more effectively equip their teams temporarily for certain matches, rather than limited to what they have.
No doubt this may be ignored, but I thought I'd express an idea. This may also eliminate the need for the "Alternative Purchasers" idea.

Those maps provide limited weapons, and are restricted to those maps only. Besides, everyone usually fights for the AWM and so on. Not everyone gets the weapon they want or need. Plus that only works on THOSE maps. What about other elimination, S&D and other match types?

Not everyone knows how to make those right choices off the bat. I am one of those, but I live with those choices. Since stats only tell so much, it doesn't give you the feel or it doesn't always give you the strategic need. (And there are people out there who don't have the opportunity to own every gun in their storage.)
But I'm not really saying about refunds, or trails, at least not intending it for such. This is more for mainly those who need certain gear for a certain time, and those who go out of their way to help them for a short while. This is also a cooperative game right? Teamwork is an asset.
It'd be a different story if the items were permanent or such, since then things become unfair. -
Haven't played Runescape for over 7 years, wouldn't know what systems have now a days. Last i remember it was a pvp world involving little teamwork though. But, I suppose the idea isn't completely original, there's probably many games with such a system.

lol, Runescape was sour period. But its not the only game with this similar system, and the other games I have seen were fairly successful games. Although, we are open to your suggestions or changes and opinions too ya know. I'd like to hear what you think. -
this is exactly how runescape went down the tube, and plus imagine if people who dont give back a borrowed item caused a major issue. This is why there is elimination
The difference here is, the people borrowing HAVE to give it back when the time expires, there is no keeping said item. So there wouldn't be any scamming to someone's precious AWM or Deagle.
Elimination is nice, as said, but not all Elimination maps have weapon pickups, and not everyone play EM. As mentioned before, this is to help organize for other matches like S&D, TDM, GM and so on. -
For those that don't entirely get what I'm driving at, here's an example:
Clan 4w3$0m3 is readying up for their skirmish, their team is comprised of Scar L's and AWM's all except poor Johnny. They don't want to trade off Johnny, being their highest asset to the team. So, Johnny's buddy decides to lend him one or two of the guns.
1-Buddy sends item, with a 1-7 day lending option.
2-Johnny receives item, sees the timer Buddy had set, and is able to use the weapon.
(If he had the rank to use it to begin with)
3-Johnny's team wins, being properly equipped and ready while having their members.
4-Time for the lending expires, Johnny loses the gun and its returned to Buddy.
Either at step 1 or 2, there would be a GP charge for the transaction. This could be a set value per item, or the cost may vary upon the items being sent.
