Could someone tell me the difference between a "normal" headshot and a golden one?

It sometimes does that

You could get a golden even though it doesn't look like it because of lag or ping.

i get them pretty often in TD's and S&D's. Its when you shoot between the persons eye, like a bull eye I guess.

the normal hs is when you shoot them on the head and the golden hs is when your bullet goes right through their skull.
