Helmet and bullets proof jackets only make you a little more noob compared to other players , that`s the only effect.
now I explain.
the helmet protect only the upper part of your head and if the bullet hit your face ,you are dead . the AWM is a one shot kill rifle, and any part of your body will register the shot and you are dead . see how much space the jacket takes on a man`s body. that`s my answer.
Now I heard that they will provide total body Armour and even horses to make you move faster . so keep on with your 60 k until they release it , or may be when they give a tank .:D

And yes, some guns don't (always) kill in 1 headshot
Famas = never 100 dmg on HS
Aug = chance of doing 98 dmg on HS, mostly 100 though
Type89 = chance of doing < 100 on HS
SMGs and some of the pistols are also never 100

Yes the armor helmet will save you from a HS sometimes, even from an awm.

But not always.

It depends on the gun, anything above a m4a1's power with no longer 1hs kill you, but the ak will, im not sure about the scar light, SMG wont with or without armor, a awm will kill u in 1hit with head or body, ignore the post above it will protect them from a headshot.

AWM is not affected by armor. It's always 1 hit kill above waist. This is why I don't really care about armor unless I'm using deagle.

Thats a complete lie, AWM isnot a 1 shot klill gun. after the x-mas patch my awm does as low as 9 dmg without kill. i get many many 70's. saying awm is 1 shotkill is not true. the x-mas patch ruined awm in my opinion. Also ppl been doing alot of tanking. Shot a guy in the neck twice 0 dmg in prison.

The x-mas patch screwed the AWM.
