downloading setup freezes my computer

i uninstalled crossfire after my game froze right after the servers started working but then when i try to download the crossfire setup it freezes my computer when its done downloading. after i restart and try to install crossfire my computer always freezes or it just doesnt work

please help

ive tried all 4 cf mirrors and download.com and torrent. every time my browser freezes when its done so i restart and the setup wont work at all

I'd suggest waiting for a mod response, it might just be the dls themself, if not its your computer, If a mod says its not the DLs then I can try to help you further.

also when i try to delete old setup files it says they are bieng used and so i cant delete them. sometimes it will freeze explorer.

Try deleting old files right after computer reboot, before trying to Redl.

i did that and it worked all except 1 file. i cleared my browsing data from my browser and now i'm going to try to download the setup again maybe it will work this time. thanks for you're help so far

the file is crossfire setup. i tried to download it again and it got to 379.7mb of 380 then it froze mny computer. thats what has happened all the other times i tried to download it

i went into safe mode when i restarted windows and i deleted the old file that wouldnt delete so now im redownloading the setup again...

i got almost the same problem,
if i download the setup, and try to start it, the wholo pc freeze, i need to reboot pc, i already reinstalled the pc WINDOWS XP HOME EDDITION, sp3 but still the same problem, even if i try to delete the setup the pc freeze :S
can u help me some 1?
