Maybe have a public server that the patch can be tested on before the patch is installed on all of the servers, to fix any errors

so you are saying that the day before they release a patch that they cannot just release it on one server to test it? that would be ridiculously stupid when it saves a lot of the users time. So they can fix issues like this one without taking up everyones time. COMMON SENSE!

You said a public server. Such patches will not be made public until the release date. That's no matter what game or mod you have or whatever you have. UNLESS it is a Public Beta, which it won't be as the game has already been through that stage and had an official release.

I'm just saying that it would be easier not like it is impossible or against the rules. It would have a lot less angry people. But I guess you are god and what you say is final.
