If you use a laptop you can set the Power Plan to High Performance
Other than that try updating your graphics card and deleting some old or useless programs completely

Laptop - 4-40
Desktop#1 - 60-120
Desktop#2 - 30-56

What are you guys graphic card's?

Laptop - /shrug Too lazy to check right now. XD
Desktop#1 - ATI Radeon HD 3200
Desktop#2 - Some rareish Intel thing, it works great, but this comp is just attrocious. :P

Is your graphic card over clocked?

unlucky can get to 10 - 20

Average = 15-35
Lucky (when the graphics card isnt hot)= 50-70
unlucky = 0.1-10 (yup i reall have been able to get 0.1 fps)

Mine varies from 70-120.
I got a GTX260M. (Same as a desktop 9800GT)
I OC'd it from STOCK settings up to FACTORY settings. Asus underclocks it in their laptops.

For the curious...
Oc'd from 500/800/1250 to 550/850/1375.

Edit: it doesn't matter if you got 100 or 500 fps it's the same.

you should atleast has 40.

haha my graphic card is stock, and my fps is usually around 50 :S, but on the birght side, my ping is 42 :P

use to be 15 fps in a 8v8 with my dell 4700, now 80-120 in a 8v8 with my HP Pavilion dv6 series, internal graphics card..Bam, lawl
SOOO much easier to make drag shots and ping is 38-42

to the max using the ati drivers but have done nothing to the BIOS

What's your ram? Your FPS is like half mine with the same card.

I have 4 gigs of ram with Vista 64-prem. 2.3 ghz processor.
