Few suggestions (more damage firing through walls)
Basically I have two suggestions that are focused on firing through walls and the realism in Crossfire that has been admired by so many players and in the reviews of the game.
You have to admit that there are a few issues when talking about the wall- shots that really can ruin the fun and gameplay of experienced players.
The main thing is the damage reduction which is quite annoying considering the fact that most of the players fire through crates and such with weapons with really high damage that basically gets absorbed by two pieces of wood and some unknown substance in the crates...
I think the damage should be reduced but not as much and not for all weapons. For example an awm shot through a crate should deal at least 80 in the body, 60 in the leg, 100 in the head (these are just random numbers but you get my point... if it hits your head it kills you). Also an AK-47 shooting through a crate should be 2 hits in the head = kill. The weapon is known to pierce a railway...
Also there are a few areas on levels such as Downtown and Desertstorm and especially on EagleEye that should be made "wall-shot able". Most of the players know the places that Im talking about. The blue doors in middle on EagleEye, the tin window shutters on Downtown (BL house) and those on B site at Desertstorm. Also on The Mine the shutters again... All these "obstacles" should be pierce-able.
There are few other places that I cant think of right now but Im sure a lot of the experienced players will back me up on this one.
P.S. And another thing while I'm brainstorming :P. Few more pistols like Glock 20, H&K USP 40 S&W if presented accurately in the game would actually be some kind of competition to the rival of D.Eagle.

Agree , the realism is down but really you can't complain in real life the M9 is a one shot kill. In real life if you get hit in the stomach by a special force combat assault rifle ( SCAR) you don't hang around shooting.
But i do agree make those area's wall shotable . -
Well on the TD maps there are a few areas where the crates should be re-done with metal ones just to not fool around with people trying to get a wall- shot on certain areas, but on SnD maps I think it's a must.
For one thing I think that CS 1.6 is still better because of the physics of the game that allow people to shoot each other through the walls... even thick ones. It requires so much skill most of the times to get a kill that actually makes the wall- kills "rewarding", unlike in crossfire where they are more of an annoying thing to do, because lets face it. Wasting your ammo against a crate and then be killed by a noob that got shot 6 times but didn't die is pretty frustrating.
I think that also if more areas are made wall- shootable it will bring more beautiful frags in the movies that are made, and me as a movie- maker would be more than happy to use scenes with some guy wall- killing 2-3 people through a tin window shutter or something rather than just standard 1 shot = 1-2 HS.
And not only about movie- making... Also the people watching streamed matches (let's hope that there will be WOGL league soon) would be a lot more pleased watching skilled player 1 vs 4 for example, just orienting by the sound taking out the other team through some thin wall, crate or another shootable obstacle.
