Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Dude hush, there are no Pro's in Crossfire, the very definition of a Professional is someone who is paid to do the job he is doing.
I dont think any of you noobs are being paid to play Crossfire, so Saidin needs to rethink his wording. -

Okay, Mr. Technical most games throw around the word "pro" alot, and we are saying PRO not Professional
ON TOPIC: How were the teams chosen? -
Pro in this particular case is short for Prostar. They are prostars. They eat their Wheaties as prostars would do. They are not getting paid to play this game. Case closed.
As for teams being picked. Trio was the championship team from our Autumn Assault Tournament. And Lifeline is a respected clan and competitive players and should give Trio a run for their Wheaties. (note I didn't say money)
Lets get back to anticipating the live show!! -

You missed the last thread by about a week. Good try though.lethalhawk22 wrote: »For me PRO* means professional and as is with any sport or game means paid to play. So i am guessing these guys are paid to play? LOL. Or are they the guys that spend the most money on the game and kill non payers with 1 shot?
Yes, when you spend over 100 bucks you get a gun that instantly kills every player on the opposite side in one shot. Can only use it once a day though.
As for all you technical, I live by the definition people:
A professional is a person who excels at a given skill, most notable from trades or sports. See: Expert.
Lets look at another definition:
Professional, adjective. 1. Of a profession. 2.Doing a certain kind of work full-time, not as an amateur. Example, a professional footballer.
Or another:
an expert player, as of golf or tennis, serving as a teacher, consultant, performer, or contestant; pro
Or how about this one:
a person who is expert at his or her work: You can tell by her comments that this editor is a real professional
or wait, look at this!:
done by a professional; expert
Now lets see why expert keeps coming up!:
Expert:
a person who has special skill or knowledge in some particular field; specialist; authority: a language expert.
or!:
noun
a person with great knowledge or skill in something.
Now, lets pick the one that everyone else likes to cite: a wikipedia. An open wiki that allows any person to edit and add. Also, is located on the internet. Let me cite it:
Main criteria for professional include the following:- Academic qualifications - A teaching degree (University doctoral program)theological, medical, or law degree - i.e., university college/institute.
- Expert and specialised knowledge in field which one is practising professionally.[6]
- Excellent manual/practical and literary skills in relation to profession.[7]
- High quality work in (examples): creations, products, services, presentations, consultancy, primary/other research, administrative, marketing or other work endeavours.
- A high standard of professional ethics, behaviour and work activities while carrying out one's profession (as an employee, self-employed person, career, enterprise, business, company, or partnership/associate/colleague, etc). The professional owes a higher duty to a client, often a privilege of confidentiality, as well as a duty not to abandon the client just because he or she may not be able to pay or remunerate the professional. Often the professional is required to put the interest of the client ahead of his own interests.
- Reasonable work moral and motivation. Having interest and desire to do a job well as well as holding positive attitude towards the profession are important elements in attaining a high level of professionalism.[8]
- Is a individual who does not require supervision.

If this picks up steam I'll be knocking down doors trying to get into the ShoutCasting.
WOGL will have people self nade at the start of the round.Okay, Mr. Technical most games throw around the word "pro" alot, and we are saying PRO not Professional

GOOD! I guess CF is finally going somewhere. I see the CF staff aiming at something and I think it's going to work! It is going to be interesting clan clash and we'll finally see something from our version. This way more players should look with a serious eye at the game and start playing "pro"(I don't like this word but whatever).
First I want to wish GOOD LUCK to Z8 on this and hope you hit the target you are aiming at(golden head shot
)!!!
Second: to the clans - hope you make a hell of a show guys!
