i can tell you how.. its very easy on photoshop, well if you have adobe photoshop.

Or maybe you should try Paint.NET (not Microsoft Paint >.<), it's free and 99.9% Photoshop like xD

Adobe Photoshop > Ctrl+U > Use the gradient/color you want.

Adobe Photoshop (I use CS3) > Ctrl+U > Choose the gradient/color you want.
