annoying sound during crossfire

every time I open crossfire, an annoying sound comes up. I think it's called the "windows xp exclamation" sound. even when I play a match it never stops. I think it's coming from xtrap or something. any help would be appreciated.

Try to disable the sounds from windows in the corner left of the screen press were it as the icon of the sound, open it and try to mute the sounds of windows
This is vista but it should look like the same

To make sure it's from crossfire try disabling sounds from your options
even radio messages.

Is the sound like a bomb being planted or something?

My comp does the same thing.I dont worry bout it though cause I dont get a pop-up.But it kinda worries me whats going on.

Its a ding like an error pops up but nothing is popping up.

okaii same thing happens to me every time some one throws a granade or says a radio message oh stuff like thta like flash nade etc... rite after its says flash granade or fire in the whole etc... this stupid sounds comes up it really ****es me off cause i walways play with earphones so i gets really annoying and it hurts my ears -.-
