Suggestion: Restrictions for New Accounts in Ranked Mode (Anti-Cheat Idea)

Hello everyone,

I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Ranked mode.

Players who are banned for cheating can create new accounts very quickly. After that, they can rank up in ZM Rank mode in a short time and start playing ranked matches again on the same day, continuing to use cheats.

To prevent this, I would like to suggest adding some restrictions before new accounts can enter ranked matches.

For example:

  • New accounts should spend a certain amount of time in the game before they can play Ranked matches (for example at least 96 hours or 1 week of playtime).
  • Players should be required to complete a certain number of normal matches before they are allowed to enter Ranked.
  • The required rank to enter Ranked could be increased (for example reaching Colonel rank).
A system like this could significantly reduce the impact of cheaters who create new accounts and immediately return to Ranked matches.

What do you think about this idea? If you have any additional suggestions or examples, please feel free to share them.
I hope this has been a good idea. I believe it will inspire other ideas and be effective.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Regards.

  • 1: just delays it wont affect much

    2: meh ways around this

3: i dont even know why this is a suggestion
  • hello You might think that way, but even slowing them down would still be good for us, wouldn’t it? If it makes it harder and more time-consuming for them, some of them might give up. That’s the main goal..
  • The goal is to make it harder for cheaters to create a new account and immediately enter ranked matches, to slow them down and make it more troublesome so that they may give up.
    güzel fikir. eline sağlık
  • At least it's an option to deter cheaters. A good idea.
  • very good idea!

in general its better if a new account/player needs not only a certain level but also a certain amount of normal games before jumping into ranked. many other games have a system like this implemented.

with crossfire this issue can only be solved by making it harder and more troublesome for the cheaters and the harder it is to make new accounts and jump back into cheating the more people wont be bothered to do so. a new anti-cheat that is being kept up to date will hardly be implemented.

we had a level increase before from 300k xp to 700k xp nothing changed man

what if a new player wants to play ranked just to found out they need like 5 mil xp as the example was colonel

Then just reduce exp gain in *farming* modes like zmr so no fast exp for clowns anymore, and newbies still will be able to get it.
  • I think the best solution would be to remove S&D ranked mode and make a new one where, if you want to join, you need to verify your information and prove yourself first, like having a high rank last season without getting banned or something similar.

For new people or casual players, I suggest a ladder system where you need to be placed in the top 40% of players in the ranked mode that month to compete in the:
    "Free of Cheaters hopefully" league.
This ladder would work as a filter since you can't reach as many points as the legit players, in theory, they would be banned before the end of the month and wouldn't have enough time to reach the top 40% mark and be left behind.
The next month, this 40% of ranked players would play in a separate server.
I understand this would split player count and increase queue times. Feel free to give some insight.
