Do merc/season passes begin soon as bought?

I'd like to try to get the cat ears crate from the pass but I'll be stuck working the next 2 weeks and won't be able to work on the daily / monthly tasks. So my question is if I buy the pass does it start it's countdown immediately (30 days?) Or could I start it when I'm on days off? I'm hoping it will still be available for purchase by the time I can get back to CF.

Every season have limit period. For this season there's 13 days remaining to finish. So If you buy pass the countdown will be 13 days. You can get halloween costume crates easily once reach level 12. You can start with seasonal and mid-season missions to get more levels fastly.

Does this mean 13 days from the day you buy it? Or it's just 13 days left from today to do this pass? If I buy the pass next week would i still get the full 13 days?

No, what Ahmad is trying to say is that the mercenary pass is a monthly event. So in 13 days a new mercenary pass will be released, if you buy one tomorrow you’ll have 12 more days to complete the current one.

Do we know when this pass will be finished and unable to purchase anymore?

honestly you get 3 levels per day so u dont even need to worry about completing before it ends
