"Failed to copy the file needed for patch"

Hey, 

After like 10 months of inactivity, I've decided to update the game and start playing again. I ran into an issue where it says the game is unable to copy the file needed for the patch or "Failed to copy the file needed for patch".



I have tried to delete the whole game folder and download the game files from a backup downloaded files I have been saving for incidents like these, downloaded the required updates but same issue.

Does anyone know a fix for it? Or at least what specific file should I delete?

Sorry if it's I made the post in the wrong place, I need help to fix the problem.
