Problem when starting Crossfire

So I've been playing the game and everything was fine until around 4 days ago, basically at some point, the game started opening on a small window which occuppies around 1/4th of my screen, then it goes to the top left corner and all I can see is a black screen on that small window, where I can hear the music to log in but I can't do anything.  If I try to press many times the program closes. I've tried to delete and reinstall the game, updating my drivers, cleaning the laptop from any potential virus, and it keeps happening. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I don't know if it has to do this with my laptop or with the game itself. My operating system is Windows 11 btw.

  • 1. CF is not officially support windows 11 ( see game requirements : https://crossfire.z8games.com/download.html )
    2. Check what other programs are running in background and close all unnecessary
    3. Add game to all antivirus and filewall exceptions, set game to start as administrator.
    4. Under windows 11 settings -> core isolation : set to disable ( default is enabled )
Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection : set to disable ( default is enabled , this options is present on latest win 11 version, early win 11 versions may not have this option available )
    Restart PC to apply settings.
P.S. If you need those options enabled for other programs - you can enable and restart pc.

If you keep have problems then send a support ticket.
