Its a feature. Mutant chance increase is working properly in beginning of the round. Bazooka hotkey is indeed the same, but you dont have to take it out yet since there are no mutants there anyway...

The problem with the Bazooka is only and thats when u shoot it it just explodes in ur face instead of goin to the way u want and that makes me really mad when i want to have some kills to activate deadly attack.

I just tested on TD - Red Eye and Mutation mode (Void Island and Aftermath ) :
1. is launching fine and own bazooka won't give damage to itself even if you shoot on the ground,
* the only damage you get from enemy bazooka explosion on TD Red Eye.
2. bazooka explode only when hit something.
3. if still happen to you then made few print screen , add them to zip archive and send a support ticket -> bug report
