Crossfire Setting Not Save

From my experience, most possible causes and solutions i know:
1. check antivirus protections, some antiviruses have a "personal file protection" (as example , but may have different name, etc), and deny other programs to write inside My Documents -> just add patcher_cf.exe as exception to all antivirus modules.
2. check microsoft one drive, usually is running and keep sync files inside My Documents - so any new file is replaced with a cloud version or deleted -> stop and close one drive
3. can be a windows policy restriction -> this involve checking security policy on My Documents for Administrator and your windows user.
